After attending Maintec in 2025, we were delighted to return to the exhibition this year and once again be part of one of the UK's leading events for maintenance, reliability and asset management professionals.

Events such as Maintec provide a valuable opportunity to step away from day-to-day operations and spend time speaking directly with the people who use, specify and purchase condition monitoring equipment. While online meetings and emails have their place, there is no substitute for face-to-face conversations and the chance to discuss real-world engineering challenges.
Over the two days, the Monitran team welcomed visitors from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, energy, process engineering, utilities and facilities management. Many conversations focused on predictive maintenance strategies, improving equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime through effective condition monitoring.
As always, vibration monitoring remained a key topic of discussion. Visitors were keen to learn more about how vibration sensors can be used to identify developing faults before they become costly failures. We also spoke to engineers looking to improve monitoring of rotating machinery, motors, pumps, fans and gearboxes, where early fault detection can have a significant impact on maintenance costs and operational efficiency.
There was also strong interest in displacement measurement and condition monitoring systems, with many attendees looking for practical, reliable solutions that can be integrated into existing maintenance programmes. These discussions reinforced a trend we have seen across the industry for several years - organisations are increasingly recognising the value of condition monitoring as part of a proactive maintenance strategy rather than relying solely on reactive repairs.
Beyond the technical conversations, one of the highlights of Maintec was the atmosphere throughout the exhibition. The event was busy, positive and full of energy. It was particularly rewarding to reconnect with existing customers and industry contacts, while also meeting new organisations exploring condition monitoring technologies for the first time.
For the Monitran team, events like Maintec provide an opportunity to listen to the challenges facing maintenance professionals, understand emerging industry trends and share knowledge with others who are passionate about improving reliability and performance.
We have returned from Maintec with plenty of ideas, new contacts and renewed enthusiasm for supporting our customers with reliable vibration, displacement and condition monitoring solutions.
