Today, 16 September 2026, marks a very special milestone for Monitran as we proudly celebrate 40 years in business.
Established on 16 September 1986, Monitran has grown and developed over four decades while remaining a privately owned British company. From our base near High Wycombe, we manufacture high-quality sensors and monitoring solutions for customers across a wide range of industries in the UK and around the world.
Throughout our 40-year history, UK manufacturing has remained at the heart of what we do. We manufacture our products in the United Kingdom and source the majority of our materials and components from carefully selected, quality-managed local and national suppliers. This gives us the flexibility to respond quickly to customer requirements, whether for standard products or custom-built solutions.
While technology and the industries we serve have evolved considerably since 1986, one thing that has remained constant is our commitment to our customers. Our experienced sales professionals and engineers work closely with customers to understand their applications, recommend fit-for-purpose and cost-effective solutions, and provide technical advice and support both before and after a sale.
Reaching our 40th anniversary is something everyone at Monitran is extremely proud of. It reflects not only the experience and expertise we have developed, but also the relationships we have built with customers, suppliers and partners over many years.
